Tax Specialist

About the role

The Andean Regional Tax team at Colgate-Palmolive is looking for a Tax Specialist to support the local subsidiary in Cali. You will work closely with the Regional Tax Manager and external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance while identifying planning opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit corporate tax returns, transfer‑pricing reports, electronic filings and monthly tax declarations.
• Maintain accurate tax records and ensure all statutory reports are filed on schedule.
• Lead and coordinate tax audit support, including preparation of corporate reports and responses to information requests.
• Prioritise tasks, manage deadlines and allocate resources efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Regional Tax Manager to identify tax‑planning opportunities and mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an international tax firm or corporate tax function, preferably within FMCG.
• Upper‑intermediate proficiency in English.
• Qualified Public Accountant with solid knowledge of Colombian tax legislation.
