Technical Project Manager – C++ Engine & Game Production

About the role

EPAM is looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager based in LATAM to bridge internal engine teams and external vendor partners. You will oversee C++ engine development and large‑scale game production, ensuring technical alignment, build stability, and timely delivery across distributed environments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between internal engine teams and external vendor C++ teams.
• Ensure coding standards, integration practices, and technical expectations are consistent across all contributors.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and pipeline stakeholders to define scalable workflows for vendor contributions.
• Maintain documentation of technical processes, workflows, and dependencies.
• Identify cross‑team dependencies, remove blockers, and keep delivery milestones on track.
• Provide builds, tools, and infrastructure updates to vendors promptly.
• Monitor engine development progress and vendor deliverables, safeguarding build stability and integration quality.
• Refine vendor code and asset validation, reduce technical debt, and enforce project standards.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a concise manner.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 2 years in lead, manager, architect, or coordinator roles.
• Experience leading a team of at least 5 employees.
• Participation in at least two full‑cycle projects or multiple phases of development.

• C++ development lifecycle.
• Unreal Engine pipelines.
• Build systems and integration tools.
