Technical Support Specialist – POS System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist who will act as the POS System Administrator for our retail environment. The role involves ensuring that point‑of‑sale hardware and software run smoothly, supporting both front‑office and back‑office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update POS and back‑office menus, printer settings and video routing configurations.
• Troubleshoot operating‑system issues, network connectivity, routers and firewalls affecting POS devices.
• Handle the incident and request queue, prioritising tickets and ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate closely with support and development teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Maintain and improve knowledge‑base articles with clear, step‑by‑step documentation.
• Train and coach support staff on best practices for POS administration.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in POS technical support or configuration.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+ spoken and written).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes is a strong plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
