Track & Trace Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Track & Trace Specialist to provide real‑time visibility of shipments throughout the transportation process. The role involves monitoring loads, updating shipment information, and communicating proactively with carriers and drivers to ensure timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track shipments via phone, email, and transportation management systems.
• Maintain accurate load statuses, arrival/departure times, and location updates.
• Confirm pickup and delivery appointments with carriers and drivers.
• Request and document ETA updates, shipment progress, and location information.
• Record detailed notes and shipment data in internal systems.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, planners, and internal teams for smooth execution.
• Forward Proofs of Delivery (PODs) and related documentation to appropriate departments.
• Identify, communicate, and escalate any delays, discrepancies, or operational issues.
• Validate documentation when inconsistencies or missing information are found.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of assigned loads until successful delivery.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of experience in logistics, transportation, track & trace, dispatch, or a related operations role.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (written and verbal).
• Proven experience communicating with carriers and drivers to monitor shipment status.
• Familiarity with shipment tracking, ETA updates, load monitoring, and transportation workflows.
