UTS Trainee - SENA Practitioner

About the role

We are looking for an UTS Trainee – SENA Practitioner to join our IT team. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience across technical support, infrastructure maintenance and client engagement while you develop core IT skills under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with hardware and software installation, configuration and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot network, system and application issues for internal and external users, using ticketing tools to log and resolve requests.
• Support server and network operations, monitor performance and security, and help with workstation setup and user account management.
• Learn and contribute to cloud‑based services, virtualization platforms and storage solutions.
• Respond to client inquiries via phone, email or in‑person, support software demos, onboarding and basic training.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate tasks and participate in problem‑solving activities.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• Less than one year of experience in an IT‑related role.
• Strong willingness to learn and follow guidance from senior staff.
• Basic communication skills for client interaction.
