Web Developer – Webflow & Shopify (Remote Contractor)

About the role

ForgeWerks, a Helios Company, is looking for a versatile Web Developer who specializes in Webflow and Shopify. You will create high‑performance, visually compelling websites and e‑commerce platforms while bridging design and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive Webflow and Shopify sites that follow brand guidelines.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional, high‑fidelity web pages.
• Customize themes, templates, and CMS structures to meet client‑specific requirements.
• Optimize site performance, page‑load speed, and ensure cross‑browser/device compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to integrate visual assets and interactive features.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, manage bug fixes, and deploy regular updates.
• Configure third‑party integrations such as marketing automation, ERP, and analytics tools.
• Set up performance tracking and provide data‑driven insights.
• Contribute to internal web standards, documentation, and best‑practice improvements.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in front‑end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and responsive design.
• Experience with APIs, basic server‑side logic, and database interactions.
• Proven track record building and scaling projects on Webflow and Shopify.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and use version control (Git).
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
