About the role
The Government Account Lead will own all public‑sector accounts in Colombia for Johnson & Johnson MedTech. The role drives profitable growth, expands market share and meets customer needs through strategic negotiation, partnership development and tailored solutions for government tenders. Collaboration with commercial, clinical demand generation and operations teams is essential to shape tender strategy and increase portfolio inclusion in public contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost‑effective programs that strengthen Clinical Sales capabilities in public hospitals and health systems.
- Contribute to projects, programs and processes supporting the public‑hospital sales strategy.
- Leverage market insights, customer needs and competitive analysis to continuously improve account strategies and commercial execution.
- Generate growth initiatives by using customer analytics and translating insights into data‑driven sales and retention strategies.
- Support tender preparation and execution, working closely with clinical sales teams to achieve product specifications and positioning.
- Represent the enterprise across key government stakeholders and collaborate cross‑functionally to advance business priorities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in MedTech or healthcare sales to the public sector.
- Strong account ownership with a track record of strategic negotiation and long‑term partnership development.
- Independent individual contributor capable of operating with minimal supervision.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market data into actionable sales strategies.
