Accounts Payable Analyst – Procurement Operations

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join its Procure‑to‑Pay delivery team. You will work on daily procurement transactions, ensuring accurate requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, and accounting for services while supporting clients on their hybrid cloud and AI journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement transactions, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, and service accounting.
• Analyze and resolve complex procurement issues and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Apply supply‑management expertise to vendor selection, purchase order creation, invoice reconciliation, contract management, and accounts payable.
• Coordinate related processes such as global payments, e‑commerce, order processing, and credits management to maintain efficient operations.

Required profile

• Experience with procurement operations covering requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, and service accounting.
• Familiarity with supply‑management concepts, vendor selection, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, contract management, and accounts payable.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems within a procurement or supply‑management context.
• Exposure to process‑improvement initiatives in procurement environments.
• English language proficiency is desirable.
