Architect / Urban Planner – Bogota

About the role

Arup is seeking an Architect/Urban Planner to join its Bogota office. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative urban design and planning solutions for a variety of clients across the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate urban design and planning studies at multiple scales, from architectural concepts to large‑scale city plans.
• Develop urban and regional spatial and land‑use plans, public‑space designs, and strategic urban planning documents.
• Conduct urban analysis, data analytics, and parametric modeling to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, transportation planners, and engineers on integrated projects.
• Contribute to research on sustainability, resilience, and nature‑based solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in architecture or related fields.
• At least 1–2 years of specific experience in urban design and planning.
• Strong understanding of Colombian and international urban design and planning practices.
• Passion for creating sustainable, resilient places and delivering innovative solutions.
