Assistant General Manager – Remote Operations

About the role

Heirloom, a leading provider of luxury short‑term rentals, is looking for an Assistant General Manager – Remote Operations to support its Gulf Coast portfolio. Based in Bogotá, this full‑time contractor will work remotely with the General Manager to ensure each property delivers a 5‑star guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely guest communications, arrival instructions, and resolve escalated guest issues.
• Manage maintenance and housekeeping tickets, coordinate vendors, and monitor property standards.
• Support operational performance tracking, SOP compliance, and process improvements using Asana, Guesty, Slack, and Google Workspace.
• Assist the General Manager with reporting, scheduling, onboarding, and team performance tracking.
• Act as a communication bridge between leadership, local teams, and guest services.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in hospitality operations, property management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Based in Bogotá, Colombia, with reliable internet access.
