Backend Engineer – Golang & Linux – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer who will design and build production‑grade Go software that runs deep within Linux environments. This systems‑level role requires strong low‑level engineering expertise and a solid understanding of operating‑system internals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production systems‑level software using Go.
• Collaborate closely with Linux internals (systemd, networking, boot‑time processes) to ensure reliability and performance.
• Debug and resolve complex issues across networking, process supervision, boot‑time environments, certificates and logs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go for systems‑level development (not web backend).
• Deep knowledge of Linux, including systemd, networking, boot‑time debugging, certificates, logs, and process supervision.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
