Finished Goods Distribution & Warehouse Operator

About the role

The Logistics Forklift Operator will work at Prysmian's Bogotá facility, ensuring the efficient transport, storage, and handling of finished goods and raw materials. The role supports production lines, material kanban, and recycling processes while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Transport, organize, stage, store, load and unload products according to supervisor instructions.
• Supply production machines, fractionalizers, kanban material stations, and coil supermarkets.
• Handle scrap and recycling materials generated by company processes.
• Inspect incoming vehicles for loading compliance.
• Verify that materials meet order specifications and perform necessary packaging.
• Report any issues with material, equipment, or warehouse facilities.
• Monitor product and packaging quality, separating non‑conforming items.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical degree in logistics or related field.
• At least one year of experience in similar logistics or warehouse positions.
• Certified forklift operation course and B1 driving license.
• Knowledge of inventory taking, material dispatch, and machine handling.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
