Graphic Design Expert (SME) – Freelance Project

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Graphic Design expert to join our AI training data projects on a freelance basis. You will help define quality standards, review design deliverables, and guide contractors to ensure high‑quality, domain‑specific annotated datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Define domain‑specific quality success metrics and develop SOPs, QA rubrics, and reference materials.
• Review project outputs against technical standards, flag defects, and provide precise remediation notes.
• Perform structured QA passes on design deliverables, track issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Advise on design tools, workflows, and asset‑management systems, handling spec changes and edge‑case scenarios.
• Curate libraries of “gold‑standard” design assets for calibration and comparability.
• Participate in talent vetting, assess contractor work, and create targeted training resources.
• Support project delivery by scoping requirements, contributing to post‑project reviews, and building dashboards that surface defect trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, branding, or visual communications.
• Strong command of design principles, visual communication, and advertising effectiveness.
• Excellent written communication for delivering clear technical guidance.
• Ability to work within fixed project timelines and maintain rigorous documentation.
