Instructional Designer, 2 Hour Learning (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Instructional Designer to lead AI‑driven learning ecosystem enhancements for K‑12 subjects. This remote position blends education expertise with high‑velocity tech execution, giving you direct ownership of student outcomes across multiple campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI‑generated improvements to subject‑specific learning experiences, including content, adaptive pathways, and student interventions.
• Design and implement data‑driven academic interventions for off‑track students using MAP, AP, SAT, ISEE and related performance data.
• Produce evidence‑based decision records documenting performance improvement actions, supported by dashboards, analytics, tickets, surveys, coaching calls, and assessment data.
• Write implementation‑ready specifications for product, engineering, and data‑science teams, outlining problem statements, supporting evidence, expected student impact, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data‑science stakeholders to define platform requirements and prioritize enhancements.

Required profile

• Deep subject fluency in K‑12 education with the ability to recognize high‑quality learning.
• Rigorous approach to converting educational vision into rubrics and AI‑driven quality mechanisms.
• Pragmatic decision‑making with incomplete data and strong accountability for student results.
• Comfort with fast‑paced, uncertainty‑rich environments and a bias toward action.
