Motion Data Collection Specialist – Remote, $6/hr

About the role

We are looking for a Motion Data Collection Specialist to capture high-quality motion data using smartphone IMU sensors and synchronized video footage. This remote, contract position offers flexible hours (10-40 hrs/week) and a rate of $6 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Capture precise motion data with smartphone IMU sensors during designated physical activities.
• Record synchronized video footage to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Follow detailed technical protocols to meet strict quality, labeling, and determinism standards.
• Deliver at least 10 hours of approved video data each week throughout the project.
• Communicate proactively with the team to clarify requirements and share collection insights.
• Maintain timely delivery aligned with project milestones.

Required profile

• Access to a head strap for recording both hands within 48 hours of start.
• Compatible smartphone (iPhone 11 or later, Google Pixel 6 or later, Samsung Galaxy S21 or later).
• Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to follow standardized protocols.
• Consistent output management and ability to meet deadlines in a data-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and remote collaboration.
