About the role
Happen Ventures is seeking a systems‑thinking operator to own the people and operations backbone of the company. This high‑trust, high‑visibility position sits at the intersection of HR, cross‑team accountability, and executive support, ensuring the team runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Manage HR operations including onboarding, off‑boarding, PTO, and policy inquiries.
- Prepare leadership follow‑ups, meeting materials, and executive communications.
- Track cross‑team tasks, maintain accountability, and document issues, write‑ups, and performance records.
- Coordinate internal communications to keep the organization aligned.
- Monitor KPIs, generate end‑of‑day reports, and build dashboards for data‑driven decisions.
- Lead strategic project coordination, vendor and partner follow‑ups, and process documentation.
- Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and support special projects from leadership.
Required profile
- Experience in HR, administration, operations, or executive assistance.
- Strong command of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Notion AI.
- Data‑driven mindset with a habit of measuring outcomes.
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication in English and Spanish.
- Comfortable handling sensitive HR matters with discretion.
