Principal Services Business Development Leader

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior leader to head Services Business Development across the COVEC Cluster (Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador). The Principal will drive strategy, build client relationships and generate scalable revenue streams while overseeing the Services P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for Services across the COVEC Cluster, leading client‑facing business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Services Product and Delivery teams to ensure seamless go‑to‑market execution.
• Provide strategic input for long‑term growth initiatives and scale the Services business across the region.
• Lead and manage the cluster‑level Services P&L, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support new Services opportunities.
• Coach and enable Services Business Leads to expand the Services portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in business development, preferably at VP level.
• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of payments and cybersecurity markets.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to build financial models and drive data‑based decisions.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to cultivate long‑term client relationships.
