Security Manager

About the role

The Grand Hyatt Bogota is seeking a Security Manager to lead its integrated security operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding guests, staff, and assets while ensuring compliance with local regulations and hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily security activities and supervise the security team.
• Develop, implement, and review security policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with local law‑enforcement and emergency services.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage incident response.
• Ensure continuous improvement of security systems and protocols.

Required profile

• Professional training in military, law‑enforcement sciences or integrated security (preferred).
• Postgraduate degree in Integrated Security (preferred).
• English proficiency at B2 level (reading, speaking, writing).
• 3‑5 years experience as Head of Security and at least six years in integrated security functions.
