Senior Billing Operations Analyst

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Billing Operations Analyst to lead end‑to‑end billing activities for assigned products. The role focuses on accuracy, contractual compliance, and post‑billing analysis while partnering closely with project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full billing cycle, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
• Validate billing milestones against executed SOWs, rates, cadence, deliverables and approved change orders.
• Perform manual billing and detailed T&E validation for billable projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to confirm expense eligibility, corrections, and approvals before billing.
• Conduct post‑billing reconciliation, identify variances, and manage re‑billing requirements.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries in coordination with Collections.
• Maintain remedy intake for internal and external stakeholder inquiries.
• Execute month‑end general ledger reclass entries and revenue accruals.
• Support audit requests by providing reconciliations, approvals, and billing documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in billing operations.
• Strong knowledge of SOW‑based billing and T&E billing models.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Salesforce platform navigation.
• Experience supporting post‑billing adjustments and audit reviews.
