Senior Internal Auditor – Americas

About the role

Inchcape is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Americas Audit team. This hybrid position can be based in any market across the Americas and offers the chance to shape a leading‑edge Global Internal Audit Function while developing your professional career.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Internal Audit Managers to plan, execute and report financial, operational, IT and programme assurance audits.
• Draft high‑quality internal audit reports and ensure timely follow‑up of audit actions.
• Influence senior management to implement corrective actions and escalate overdue issues.
• Support the creation of the annual risk‑based internal audit plan.
• Collaborate with regional and group stakeholders, staying current on regulatory requirements and Inchcape’s business model.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA or equivalent.
• At least 2 years post‑qualification experience in internal audit, either in practice or industry.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK Corporate Governance and the COSO and COBIT frameworks.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
