Senior QA Engineer – Remote

About the role

Coforge is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead both automated and manual testing initiatives for its software products. This remote position focuses on ensuring high quality, reliability, and performance across applications while collaborating closely with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Create and execute API tests using Postman collections, environments, and assertions.
• Validate data integrity and perform database verification through SQL queries.
• Integrate testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Support CI/CD pipelines by embedding automated tests and contributing to performance testing efforts.
• Continuously improve testing processes and quality engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, covering both manual and automation testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile environments.
