Software Engineer (Python, JavaScript)

About the role

We are looking for two Software Engineers to help design, build, and maintain our self‑hosted n8n automation platform. You will work on workflow automations, custom integrations, and node development while ensuring platform reliability and supporting internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain n8n workflows and automation scripts.
• Build custom n8n nodes, integrations, and supporting services.
• Investigate and resolve workflow failures, platform issues, and integration problems.
• Collaborate with platform engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Assist in onboarding new use cases and users to promote n8n adoption.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in API design and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, remote environment across US time zones.
• Background in backend and integration engineering, with some frontend experience.
