System Administrator

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for a System Administrator based in Bogotá, D.C. You will be responsible for keeping the organization’s IT infrastructure reliable, secure, and performant. The role combines daily operational support with strategic system improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, operating systems, and backup solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Provide technical support to end‑users and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Oversee network operations, including configuration and connectivity checks.
• Implement system updates, patches, and security measures.
• Monitor system performance and optimize resources to support business activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are a plus.
