System Security Engineer

About the role

Radware is looking for a System Security Engineer to join its rapidly growing security team in Bogota. You will be responsible for maintaining and securing the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that critical systems operate reliably and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and related services.
• Manage and monitor network security devices such as firewalls, VPNs and access controls.
• Deploy, configure and maintain ElasticSearch environments for log aggregation and analytics.
• Support virtualization platforms, including VMware and KVM.
• Troubleshoot system, network and security issues across distributed environments.
• Implement security policies, hardening standards and compliance requirements.
• Monitor performance, capacity and availability, recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security.
• Strong background with Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Windows Server).
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls, VPNs and network security management.
• Experience deploying and operating ElasticSearch.
• Solid knowledge of virtualization (VMware, KVM) and Linux administration.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VPNs).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
