Transactional Assistant

About the role

The Transactional Assistant supports the customer‑facing sales force throughout the sales cycle, from lead qualification to order processing. Working on‑site, the role ensures smooth communication between customers and sales professionals and helps drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer calls and emails, qualify leads and route them to the appropriate sales professional.
• Prepare budgetary quotes for simple to complex jobs by gathering technical data, lead times and customer presentations.
• Participate in customer visits and events, making decisions when procedures are unclear.
• Receive and process orders, issue acknowledgements, invoices and shipping notices.
• Communicate order and inventory status to the sales force and identify any issues.
• Resolve customer issues directly or coordinate with other teams for resolution.
• Review and report inventory levels, creating purchase orders when needed.
