Assistant Manager – Executive Assistant Team

About the role

Oliver Wyman is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead its Executive Assistant (EA) team in Bogota. The role combines people management, workflow coordination, and training responsibilities to ensure high‑quality support for senior partners and principals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small team of Executive Assistants, including performance goal setting and review discussions.
• Gather feedback from partners, address performance challenges, and improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with the EA Regional Manager and local leadership on process enhancements and capacity management.
• Recruit, train, and integrate new Executive Assistants into the team workflow.
• Coordinate training schedules, identify skill gaps, and develop new training modules with regional/global training coordinators.
• Oversee workflow coordination, coverage notes, expense processing delegation, and approval of holiday, remote‑work, and timesheet requests.
• Act as first point of contact for conflict resolution and support special projects related to the EA department.

Required profile

• Experience managing a small team of administrative professionals.
• Strong communication skills to interact with partners, principals, and support staff.
• Ability to collect and act on feedback, calibrate performance ratings, and drive continuous improvement.
• Proven capability in recruitment, onboarding, and training of executive assistants.
• Organizational skills to coordinate workflow, coverage, and administrative processes.
