Concrete Estimator – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Concrete and Excavation Estimator to join a reputable Oregon‑based commercial and public works construction firm. This full‑time remote position serves clients across the United States and focuses on light civil projects ranging from $250K to $2M.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architect‑provided plans using Bluebeam, including area, linear, excavation, and site measurements.
• Review specifications and bid requirements, flagging missing information before submission.
• Manage the end‑to‑end bid process: coordinate supplier pricing, prepare and submit bids via Procore, Building Connected, Construct, and SmartBid.
• Track active bid invitations, maintain the estimating pipeline, and organize documentation.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for concrete and excavation scopes.
• Support post‑award activities such as subcontractor coordination, submittal packages, and ongoing communication on scope and scheduling.
• Collaborate with field staff and ownership on feasibility and constructability reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years estimating experience in concrete, excavation, or light civil construction for commercial/public works projects.
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and civil plans with high accuracy.
• Fluent professional English (written and verbal).
• Prior remote work experience with a U.S. contractor is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with U.S. construction practices and business culture.
