Data Analyst Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst Specialist to join our growing team in Bogotá. You will work in a multicultural environment, turning complex data into clear business insights that support engineering, SME and stakeholder decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, explore and assess datasets to understand data location, usage and potential issues.
• Analyze and interpret data, translating technical findings into actionable business insights.
• Map data flows across legacy systems, GCP and Databricks.
• Evaluate data quality, flag missing values, duplicates and inconsistencies, and support cleansing activities.
• Support Medallion Architecture by profiling Bronze data, improving Silver data quality and validating Gold data.
• Collaborate with SMEs to capture business requirements, definitions and rules.
• Create reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to communicate insights and data readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 3‑5 years of experience in data analysis, data discovery and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working with business users or SMEs.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Required skills

• SQL for querying large datasets.
• Python (or similar language) for basic data analysis.
• Power BI and Tableau for reporting and dashboard creation.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with Databricks and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
