About the role

The Director, Franchise Operations will act as the end‑to‑end orchestrator for the Franchise Operations team in Colombia, partnering closely with the bottling partner(s) and reporting directly to the General Manager. This senior leader ensures alignment across Commercial, Marketing, RGM, Finance, Supply Chain and Insights to drive consistent commercial results.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a direct extension of the GM’s leadership team, providing clarity, alignment and follow‑through across franchise, bottler and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Provide senior thought leadership to the bottler, shaping a balanced agenda of short‑term execution and long‑term capability building.
  • Lead joint performance routines covering revenue, volume, share, distribution, visibility and asset productivity, and drive corrective action plans.
  • Act as the core horizontal integrator, connecting Commercial, Marketing, RGM, Finance, Supply and Insights for cohesive planning and execution.
  • Ensure commercial priorities and marketing strategies are fully aligned, sequenced and resourced across the franchise system.
  • Identify interdependencies, risks and trade‑offs across initiatives and proactively resolve them on behalf of the GM.
  • Orchestrate the cross‑functional operating and budget agenda, aligning investments with priorities and performance expectations.
  • Own franchise‑level DMI effectiveness, translating insights into actionable interventions.
  • Maintain disciplined operating rhythms, governance forums and escalation mechanisms to ensure results delivery.
  • Drive outcome‑focused sprints on pricing compliance, in‑store visibility and other execution excellence initiatives.

Required profile

  • Proven senior leadership experience in franchise or commercial operations within a matrixed, consumer‑goods environment.
  • Strong ability to orchestrate complex agendas, influence across functions and convert strategy and data into market action.
  • Excellent cross‑functional partnership skills and enterprise‑level thinking.
  • Track record of delivering near‑term commercial impact while building sustainable long‑term capabilities.
