Finance Business Partner Analyst

About the role

The Finance Business Partner Analyst supports Mastercard's U.S. Customer Planning function by providing financial analysis, planning, and reporting for market development and financial institutions accounts. The role works closely with the Americas Regional Finance team to ensure accurate financial close and insightful commentary.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the financial close process, analyzing customer‑level variances against budget, forecasts, and prior year actuals.
• Review and deliver business‑driven commentary to Americas Finance management.
• Develop and maintain the customer‑level annual plan, budget, and monthly forecast/O&Rs.
• Create standardized financial reporting packages that include customer metrics, KPIs, and revenue initiatives.
• Identify and communicate revenue risks and opportunities.
• Respond promptly to ad‑hoc information requests and analysis.
• Support Mastercard strategic plans by providing relevant customer‑level financial analysis.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial analysis and planning.
• Ability to translate data into clear, business‑focused commentary.
• Experience developing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Comfort working with cross‑functional finance and business teams.
