Financial Operations Controller – Systems Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Operations Controller who will own and optimise our financial systems infrastructure. This remote position supports a fast‑growing agricultural enterprise with more than 25,000 colonies and multiple processing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the QuickBooks administrator, managing chart of accounts, multi‑location setups, inventory, COGS and seasonal adjustments.
• Oversee accounts payable, configure and maintain the Ramp platform, and automate AP workflows.
• Manage payroll processing through ADP, including data transfer from Homebase, benefits administration and compliance with state labour laws.
• Prepare monthly financial packages, KPI dashboards, and lead budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Integrate financial systems, develop automated reporting, and support M&A integration and new location setups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience with QuickBooks, Ramp, ADP and multi‑state payroll.
• Strong understanding of agricultural accounting, inventory management and cost of goods sold.
