Fraud Operations Analyst

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a Fraud Operations Analyst to join its fast‑growing team. You will help protect the platform by reviewing suspicious activity, blocking fraudulent users, and clearing false‑positive alerts. The role works full‑time on a shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm Central Time, Monday‑Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time transactions and user behavior flagged for potential fraud.
• Investigate individual cases using internal policies and review methodologies.
• Analyze account patterns and contribute data insights to improve detection models.
• Research emerging fraud trends and help evolve policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and support teams to enhance fraud prevention tools.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high IQ and high EQ.
• Ability to work the specified shift consistently.
• Fluent English; only English resumes accepted.
• Experience in fraud detection, risk assessment, or related fields is preferred.

Required skills

• Ability to work with internal fraud detection platforms and data analysis tools.
