Group Financial Controller – Bilingual English/Spanish

About the role

Join a leading multinational agribusiness and trading group as the Group Financial Controller. You will act as the financial guardian for a global operation, overseeing consolidation, internal controls, and compliance across all regional entities while reporting directly to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group close processes, including intercompany accounting and eliminations.
• Own and maintain Group accounting policies under UK GAAP, FRS and IFRS, ensuring audit readiness.
• Partner with the budgeting team, drive re‑forecasting cycles and monitor bank covenant compliance.
• Provide advanced technical accounting guidance, especially for Hedge Accounting of currency and financial exposures.
• Design, implement and test internal control frameworks across the global organization.

Required profile

• Recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Extensive hands‑on experience with international group accounts and IFRS/FRS reporting.
• Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Willingness to be based in Bogotá and travel frequently to global offices.
