Head of Finance – Diagnostics (Colombia & Regional)

About the role

The Head of Finance Diagnostics will lead financial performance, governance and business partnering for Diagnostics across Colombia and a group of distributor‑based countries. This senior role combines hands‑on P&L ownership with close collaboration with commercial leadership and exposure to CFO‑level responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership for Diagnostics across Colombia and distributor‑based countries, driving margin, cost discipline and profitable growth.
• Lead planning, forecasting and monthly performance reviews, delivering clear analyses and performance narratives for senior management.
• Manage the distributor model: ensure contract governance, support complex deal structuring, monitor margin, inventory, credit risk and payment discipline.
• Partner with country management and commercial leadership, translating financial data into actionable commercial insights and supporting business cases.
• Own cash performance, DSO and working‑capital optimisation, implementing risk‑mitigation actions in line with regional guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements, coordinating audits and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of finance experience with proven P&L responsibility.
• Background in medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare or pharma.
• Experience with distributor or channel‑driven business models.
• Strong governance, process‑standardisation and performance‑steering expertise.
• Track record of leading transformation or verticalisation initiatives.
