IT Engineer – Support & Network Administration

About the role

The IT Engineer will ensure smooth operation of the company’s IT environment, providing support to Latin America employees and managing the core technology platforms. This role combines hands‑on technical work with strategic oversight of systems and network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide IT support, troubleshooting and training for LATAM staff.
• Install and configure hardware and software, including laptops, desktops, servers, mobile devices, SIP phones, printers and network cards.
• Manage asset records and evaluate user IT requests.
• Set up and troubleshoot Cisco, SonicWall and Palo Alto network devices.
• Perform network cabling for office environments.
• Conduct daily maintenance of servers, VPN, phones and other network equipment.
• Update internal website content such as user manuals and event posts.
• Monitor network security and performance, and coordinate monthly IT meetings with headquarters.
• Maintain licenses, backup schedules and oversee project phases from conception to completion.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT or similar department.
• Strong project management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Required skills

• Cisco networking (including Cisco Certified Network Associate – CCNA).
• SonicWall and Palo Alto firewall configuration.
• VPN and SIP phone setup.
• Network cabling and hardware installation.
• Server and network equipment maintenance.
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSE or MCSA (preferred).
