Jr Travel Planner Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a curious and detail‑obsessed Junior Travel Planner Assistant to support our Senior Team Leader in designing bespoke journeys for high‑end clients. Based in Barranquilla, you will work onsite, helping to uncover hidden gems, negotiate with vendors, and anticipate traveler needs before they arise.

Key responsibilities

• Research destinations, exclusive villas, experiences and niche products to build tailor‑made itineraries.
• Create polished presentations and travel documents.
• Coordinate and book hotels, activities, car rentals and restaurants while ensuring compliance with payment policies.
• Reconfirm bookings and liaise with vendors to guarantee flawless execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, other travel planners and operations to exchange information and resolve issues quickly.
• Support the SVP by curating unique experiences such as exclusive restaurants, local guides and hard‑to‑find opportunities.
• Develop and nurture supplier relationships to encourage repeat business.

Required profile

• Curious investigator who enjoys uncovering unique travel options.
• Flexible, dependable and able to adapt to different time zones and high‑demand periods.
• Humble, proactive, eager to learn with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Extremely detail‑oriented, organized and capable of juggling multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with HubSpot CRM (or willingness to learn).
• Familiarity with Travefy platform (a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace tools.
