Junior Commercial Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Commercial Lawyer to support commercial and transactional legal matters across LATAM. The role works closely with regional sales, business development and global legal teams to draft, negotiate and manage commercial agreements while mitigating legal risk.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate client‑facing agreements such as master service agreements, data licensing, subscription contracts, order forms and statements of work.
• Advise sales and business development teams on deal structure, contract risk and commercial terms.
• Identify, assess and escalate legal risks, providing practical recommendations.
• Develop and maintain regional contract templates and playbooks to accelerate deal velocity.
• Manage contracts in Salesforce and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Collaborate with the global legal team on cross‑border transactions, compliance initiatives and process improvements.
• Support additional legal projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Law degree and admission to practice in Colombia.
• 2–3 years of experience in commercial or transactional legal work, preferably in‑house or at a law firm.
• Experience in technology, data or SaaS sectors and familiarity with LATAM markets.
• Working knowledge of data protection and privacy laws in key LATAM jurisdictions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; French a plus.
