Junior Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer with a focus on Java to join our fast‑growing engineering team. You will work on designing, developing, testing and implementing complex business solutions in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test applications that meet business requirements.
• Implement and consume RESTful services using Java, Spring and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams following Scrum and Agile practices.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (B2‑C1).

Required skills

• Java (version 17 or higher).
• Node.js, Nest, JavaScript.
• Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, DB2.
• REST API design and consumption.
• Spring framework and micro‑services development.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
