Laboratory Assistant

About the role

CPL Aromas is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support its fragrance development operations. The role involves preparing and testing fragrance applications for personal care, home care and fine perfumery products, while ensuring timely delivery to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Apply fragrances to various bases according to customer specifications.
• Update and monitor raw material and base inventories to ensure compliance.
• Develop standard laboratory bases for application testing.
• Review, maintain and purify fragrances in the Colombia library.
• Verify stock availability for incoming laboratory requests and request replenishment when needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date collection files and inventory of packaging materials.
• Assemble, develop and tabulate performance evaluation results for commercial, evaluation or R&D teams.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; technical degree in chemistry or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months experience in a laboratory or production environment.
• Knowledge of office automation tools.
• Strong olfactory capacity, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
