The British Council Bogotá Teaching Centre is looking for a Lead Teacher of English to deliver high‑quality language courses to adults and young learners across the city. You will inspire confidence and progress through engaging, outcome‑focused lessons while contributing to the Centre’s growth and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a wide range of English language courses in the main centre and partner institutions.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and encourage learner autonomy.
• Participate in professional development and performance management activities.
• Support colleagues through observations, mentoring, and leading teacher‑development initiatives.
• Contribute to course design, academic planning and centre meetings.
