Local SEO Account Manager – Home Services

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Local SEO Account Manager to own client relationships and drive real local search results for home‑service businesses such as HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, and landscaping. You will manage the full SEO cycle—from strategy and execution to reporting—while working directly with U.S. business owners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 8–10+ home‑service client accounts as the primary point of contact.
• Audit local search presence, develop customized SEO strategies, and present actionable insights.
• Optimize and maintain Google Business Profiles, on‑site SEO (primarily WordPress), and local citations.
• Monitor rankings, traffic, and lead metrics using BrightLocal, Whitespark, and Google Search Console.
• Coordinate with internal teams for technical updates and stay current on Google algorithm changes.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on local SEO experience.
• Strong expertise in Google Business Profile optimization.
• Solid understanding of on‑site SEO for local businesses and experience with WordPress.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts in an agency setting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Availability to work full‑time (~45 hours/week) on U.S. Eastern Time hours with a reliable remote setup.
