Manager, Accounts Payable

About the role

The Manager, Accounts Payable leads the end‑to‑end AP function for Canada, the UK, the US, Ireland and Mexico from our Bogota hub. You will ensure invoices, statements and employee expenses are processed accurately, on time and in compliance with internal policies and service‑level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee complete, accurate and timely processing of invoices and employee expenses across five countries.
• Ensure payments follow accounting policies, proper categorisation and policy checks.
• Maintain SLA compliance through quality‑control checks, root‑cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Resolve operational issues related to invoice or expense payments and act as escalation point for internal and external clients.
• Serve as liaison between stakeholders and the Bogota operation, providing client‑focused support.
• Manage AP Supervisors, including onboarding, training and performance monitoring.
• Identify staffing capacity needs and drive process improvements, automation and migration of new operations.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and support leadership development.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams in a large organization.
• Advanced level of English and experience working with international stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and leadership capabilities.
• Experience in high‑volume payment or accounts‑payable environments.
