Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Administrator (Part-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Administrator to manage the full revenue cycle for a cash‑based telemedicine practice. The role is part‑time, flexible and can be performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire revenue cycle from patient onboarding through reconciliation.
• Manage patient onboarding and payment workflows using the HYFIN system.
• Audit active patient memberships and ensure correct enrollment in payment plans.
• Process pharmacy‑related charges and generate bi‑weekly revenue reports by membership type.
• Communicate with patients via email regarding billing questions and outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and internal records.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and labs to confirm diagnosis coding and obtain prior authorizations for medications.
• Monitor incoming faxes, scanned mail and digital documentation, keeping organized patient records in the EMR.
• Maintain operational spreadsheets and support additional administrative tasks to improve provider efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
• High proficiency with EMR systems.
• Experience completing prior authorizations and communicating with insurance providers.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems without constant supervision.
