Operador I – Empaque de Congelados

About the role

The Generalist Process Operator I will work on the frozen‑food packaging line at Cargill’s Arjona facility. You will operate a variety of production equipment, support quality output, and help meet daily throughput targets while following strict safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mechanical machinery and packaging equipment in the assigned area.
• Load and unload bulk materials, perform terminal operations and mixing tasks.
• Monitor computerized control systems and make basic machine adjustments when needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues in collaboration with the team.
• Record production and inventory data in the plant’s computer system.
• Operate mobile powered equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, sit‑down floor sweepers and front‑end loaders.
• Follow all safety policies, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure safe work pace.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support overall production goals.
