Pre-Litigation Case Manager – Personal Injury

About the role

We are seeking a Pre‑Litigation Case Manager to support a boutique personal injury law firm. Working remotely, you will oversee cases from intake through settlement, ensuring smooth progression and clear communication with clients, medical providers, and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of pre‑litigation personal injury cases, tracking deadlines and follow‑ups.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
• Obtain and organize medical records, bills, and treatment histories.
• Communicate with insurance companies, draft demand letters, and assist in settlement negotiations.
• Prepare legal documents such as demand letters, medical chronologies, and case summaries.
• Collect and maintain evidence including police reports, witness statements, and medical records.
• Support attorneys with settlement preparation and documentation.
• Generate status reports and keep case tracking systems up to date.
• Perform ad‑hoc administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in personal injury pre‑litigation case management or a similar legal role.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law and procedural requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management software.
