About the role

Software Mind is seeking a Principal Technical Solutions Engineer to join its team and work with a global enterprise software client that delivers cloud‑based tax technology and large‑scale ERP integrations. The role is highly technical and customer‑facing, focusing on solving complex platform and integration challenges across SAP, Oracle, cloud environments, APIs and distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

Act as the highest level technical escalation point for mission‑critical customer environments.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Cloud Operations and Customer Success to resolve high‑impact production issues.
Lead complex technical investigations, root‑cause analysis and drive platform improvements.
Design and troubleshoot enterprise application ecosystems, integration patterns and distributed systems in production.
Mentor engineers and champion technical initiatives across teams.

Required profile

7+ years of experience in technical support, enterprise applications, software engineering or site reliability engineering.
Proven ability to lead investigations and communicate with senior stakeholders.
Strong English proficiency (C1 level or higher), both written and spoken.
Experience mentoring engineers and driving cross‑functional technical projects.

Required skills

REST and SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, OAuth 2.0, JDBC, HTTP/HTTPS, RFC/JCo, OData.
SQL and enterprise databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA, DB2.
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, OCI (or similar).
Microservices architecture, multi‑tenant SaaS applications, Linux, Tomcat, Java runtime environments.
Enterprise integration patterns for SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP) and Oracle (ERP Cloud, EBS, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, NetSuite).
