Procurement Specialist – Aviation Parts

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will ensure continuous supply of critical aircraft parts for a leading aerospace and defence engineering business. You will secure components at competitive prices, improve supplier value, and support operational reliability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase aircraft parts and materials following operational procedures.
• Place and fulfill purchase orders, coordinating delivery to meet operational needs.
• Resolve supply‑chain errors and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain high service levels for internal and external suppliers.
• Secure parts at competitive prices and support policy development.
• Review purchasing methodology and recommend operational improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or supplier management.
• Strong knowledge of aviation materials and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent attention to detail, organized and articulate.
• Ability to lead initiatives, train teams and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
• Automation tool development for procurement processes.
