Python Backend / Fullstack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Python Backend or Fullstack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable services. The role involves working across multidisciplinary teams and contributing throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and API frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Design and implement integrations with external platforms through robust, scalable APIs.
• Apply software architecture principles and system‑design best practices in complex environments.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests with Pytest.
• Document code, architecture, and system flows using diagrams and technical artifacts.
• Optimize performance through caching strategies, API tuning, and resource management.
• Collaborate on modern web‑based user experiences and support fullstack development when needed.
• Participate in deployment, maintenance, and version control using Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with API frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with data manipulation tools such as Pandas, PySpark, or Polars.
• Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks, especially Pytest.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and performance‑optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in Git and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD and containerization.
