Remote Litigation Paralegal

About the role

Westbridge Legal Staffing is looking for a Remote Litigation Paralegal to support a reputable personal injury law firm based in California. The position is fully remote and open to candidates residing anywhere in Colombia who have at least one year of litigation support experience with U.S. law firms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and litigation schedules.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case updates.
• File legal documents with courts and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
• Prepare and send correspondence to courts, clients, and other parties.
• Handle Notices of Settlement and schedule Case Management Conferences.
• Communicate with health insurance providers and follow up on lien statuses.
• Respond to emails and coordinate attorney schedules.
• Track settlement checks and assist with dismissal filings.
• Maintain accurate case records in legal case management systems.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and internal staff to ensure efficient case progression.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
• Experience working with U.S.-based law firms.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Residence in Colombia.

Required skills

• Experience managing attorney calendars and litigation deadlines.
• Experience filing court documents.
• Familiarity with personal injury cases.
