Roster - Asistente Senior de Adquisiciones

About the role

The World Food Programme (WFP) is creating a roster of qualified candidates for the position of Senior Procurement Assistant. Selected candidates will be considered for future contract opportunities in Bogotá, Colombia, for a fixed‑term of six months with possible extension based on performance and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Support the procurement team in planning, sourcing, and acquiring goods and services needed for humanitarian operations.
• Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, and purchase orders in compliance with WFP policies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and assist in supplier performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with logistics, finance, and program units to ensure timely delivery of supplies.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or related fields, preferably in an international or humanitarian context.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural team and adhere to WFP’s values of integrity, collaboration, and humanity.
• Fluency in Spanish and working proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement procedures, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
